back in the day, we saw them - Flack & Hathaway as the opening act for George Carlin.
they should have headlined their own show...

Saw her in '89 at the Palace in Stamford, CT - she sat at a grand piano and belted out songs. What a beautiful voice.

Richie Havens opened for her - it was a nice contrast in styles.
