Massie is a political non-entity that has accomplished precisely nothing for the country.

He votes consistently conservative. What more can you expect from a Representative?

Any news on who is going to fill Rubio’s seat? Or Gaetz’s?

If Massie doesn’t support Israel, he shouldn’t be elected to anything.

  1. Israel is no part of the U.S.
  2. The State of Israel worships itself instead of God.
  3. The State of Israel failed to allow it's people to defend themselves on Oct 7 much less provide them the border security fundamental to every states duty.

You can probably count the number of Kentuckians who have any stake in USA-Israel relations on one hand.

I strongly disagree with that statement, but it may depend on what you mean by "have any stake in USA-Israel relations".

Kentucky is mostly rural, and a lot of these rural people go to Christian churches and have strong support for Israel.

Maybe I’m naive, but I have no idea what Christian churches and “strong support for Israel” have to do with each other.

Well that worked real good, huh. Voted conservative you say. Meanwhile, the country was being turned into an unconstitutional authoritarian hellscape. Somehow that seemed to escape the notice of all of these “conservatives”. I think they should give other people a try now. They’ve done enough.

Most Christians have a deep reverence for Israel and the land of Jesus.

Replacement Theology is a cancer on the Church.

The moral equivalency argument is just despicable. Seems antisemitism is on the rise everywhere. Expect rough times ahead for planet Earth.

By that logic, every conservative Republican in the House should be thrown out because the "unconstitutional authoritarian hellscape" happened on their watch.

What's the real reason some people hate Massie? He doesn't vote "right" on Israel, and for them that issue supersedes all others.

Most Christians have a deep reverence for Israel and the land of Jesus.

Most Christians worship in a denomination (Catholic, Orthodox, mainline Protestant) which has for centuries taught that the Church is Israel.

Israel needs to be the exception.

Why? Israel is extremely wealthy with a generous welfare state. It can easily afford to pay for its own defense.

Don’t tell that to FReepers trashed here for supporting Cruz early in 2015-16.

He was a fav until Trump started winning and then the wet finger in the wind crowd attacked anyone not swayed yet.

Like me.

They also attacked any doubt with McCain and then Romney whom both I voted against. They are knee jerk types.

Well, all the DOGE findings prove the GOP was complicit in the waste.

They were too lazy too read the bills even in the early process of spending. And they all have larger staffs. Just not as smart.

I’m not understanding why anyone would have a “deep reverence” for a country whose religious identity is built on a 2,000-year denial of Christianity’s defining fundamental principle.
