I did a quick search to see what people are saying:
'The Republican Jewish Coalition quickly pledged that it would mount an aggressive push against Massie if he runs.
“If Tom Massie chooses to enter the race for US Senate in Kentucky, the RJC campaign budget to ensure he is defeated will be unlimited,” Republican Jewish Coalition CEO Matt Brooks, who has repeatedly condemned Massie, said in a statement
He voted against funding for Israel’s Iron Dome some time back.
Israel keeps us up to date with the pulse of that area and has a lot of spies and networks tapped into other countries there.
If Massie doesn’t support Israel, he shouldn’t be elected to anything.
Shame on the RJC.
Massie was way too revealing about the AIPIC handlers assigned to every Congressman and Senator.
Massie is a libertarian at heart and a Nevertrumper. Like most of his persuasion, good on some things but out there on others. He should stay in the House where he can do the least amount of damage!
Yes that was why Iron dome.
It didn’t hurt him last time in fact it helped
They did the same thing freaking out with Rand and didn’t hurt him. I remember it well.
They don’t like libertarians i.e anyone who votes against foreign aid (in a reliable way)
He’s going to take Mitch’s seat. That twit Beshear and his teacher union goons are not to be taken lightly though.
You know I live in the 4th District. You’ve read my posts. I’m thinking about running for Massie’s seat.
___$25
___$50
___$100
You can probably count the number of Kentuckians who have any stake in USA-Israel relations on one hand.
He’d make a fine Senator to replace the Turtle.
Massie is not anti Israel. He is anti the US funding anybody else. He’s anti the federal government spending money we don’t have.
Could he win? Would be fantastic!
That’s a lie. Massie isn’t a Never Trumper. He was open to serving in his administration. He was against Johnson as Speaker and he doesn’t agree with Trump on everything.
Yes, Massie backed DeSantis in the primary, which turned out to be a mistake, but primaries are part of our political process.
If I were you, Massie, I’d already know and wouldn’t be asking.
I’m fine with Massie not sending funds from our heavily indebted country to Israel.
I didn’t know about that. I will catch-up.
Massie should stay in the House in safe district. He can’t win a statewide race. The teacher’s union, retired teachers, and all the government workers won’t vote for him. If he runs, it will end up a Democrat seat.
Massie is a political non-entity that has accomplished precisely nothing for the country. He should retire from politics and just try to live authentically. It might do him some good.
Israel is an extremely wealthy nation. If its welfare state can afford free college and universal health care for its citizens (which it does), then it can afford to pay for its own defense.
Massie should be judged on whether he's good for the U.S. Not whether he's good for some foreign country.
When AIPAC targets a politician with ads, the ads make no mention of Israel. They raise other issues, as AIPAC doesn't want to be too obvious in their ads.
