A woman from New Jersey was killed by a hippo while on an African safari with her husband who now alleges the tour operator failed to keeping her safe.
Lisa Manders, 70, was gruesomely attacked by the hippo last year in Zambia on the trip while her husband, Craig, horrified husband watched on.
The mother-of-three suffered 'catastrophic injuries' and died moments after the attack, according to the lawsuit.
'Had we understood the dangers posed by the hippopotamus, we never would have agreed to be in such close contact while on foot,' Craig said in a statement from his attorneys, Paul Slager and Nicole Coates, reported NBC News.

A hippo... with a pistol grip and picatinny rails.
Stupid tourists. He wint live long enough to spend stupid payment for stupidity.
Hippos are all muscle and NOT to be messed with.
Wolves and grizzlies are very light on their feet; you can’t even hear them walking most of the time.
Another time in Yellowstone, my wife, daughter and I pulled out into a parking lot on a bluff overlooking a tall brown-grassed valley, and went for a hike. Down into the valley, up the other side and up a creek-shed.
Well up the creek, we saw some Griz tracks the size of dinner plates, so we didn’t stay long, and beat feet back toward the parking lot.
As we’re crossing the grassy valley, we noticed a whole bunch of people in the parking lot with binoculars apparently looking at us. Weird. They started waving, and we waved back. We could hear them in the distance shouting, but it was too far to hear anything.
When we got up to the parking lot, they asked, “Did you see them?”
“See what?”
“The pack of wolves! You walked right through them ...”
Nowadays in wolf country, I carry a 9mm 16+1, 16 mag, and 13 mag. Can’t be too careful!
LOL! Cory Booker, Hakeem Skyhook, and Airhead Pressly are either disguising their heads as basketballs or they are pretending they are Trekkies in a new Star Trek series.

I think they may be the #1 killer if you donβt count diseases.
They are from Connecticut. Thus, likely liberals. Thus likely fools. Thus likely to naturally be unaware of danger wherever they go. Absolutely no situational awareness.
“Absolutely no situational awareness.”
Yes, have been in most western national parks and seen lots of wildlife, I’d be really wary. But when the guide says “It’s safe here” do you believe him? Or stay in a vehicle?
You take it all with a grain of salt. We are each responsible for our own situational awareness. And with a married couple, it’s his responsibility.
