Reagan had good aims and knew he would have to change culture which he did to a certain extent. But he also “learned” he had to compromise with Dems to get any credit for anything legislative.
Yes, and apparently they are taking much needed services away from disabled kids. I hope they do some fine tooth combing to prevent NEEDED and NECESSARY programs from being canceled.

Reagan had a democrat house, under the estimable Thomas P. O’Neill, for the whole of his 8 years. He had a Republican Senate for 6 years, but they were fairly worthless under Bob Dole. And he didn’t have anyone of the ability of Elon. RR did pretty well, all things considered. But yes, Trump has already exceeded him.

But I DO see so many shots taken at the Great One the past month and it just breaks my heart.
Why even compare the two?
They are 2 great men with some of the same and some different great qualities.
