I understand lactose intolerance, but I can’t remember a report of anaphylactic death from milk.

Wasn’t that the stuff that gave you the drizzling shits?

Lay’s potato chips are a health hazard even when they’re “ok.”

There are also sensitivities to milk proteins, which is not the same as lactose intolerance. One of my wife's relatives almost died because he was given butter, which has very little lactose, but also has milk proteins, which is FAR more serious for those with the sensitivity. The Canadian health care worker did not make the distinction and the young child almost died.

Baloney, I’ve never heard of someone dropping dad from an extremely small microdose of milk. And if they are that delicate, they shouldn’t be eating a potato chip in the first place.

The Law of Unintended Consequences will strike milk in products like potato chips just as it did for thousands of other foods that had sesame ADDED after the the risks of trying to avoid it became too high.
https://www.fox9.com/news/new-us-food-label-law-unintended-effect-sesame-more-foods
"A new federal law requiring that sesame be listed as an allergen on food labels is having unintended consequences — increasing the number of products with the ingredient.
Food industry experts said the requirements are so stringent that many manufacturers, especially bakers, find it simpler and less expensive to add sesame to a product — and to label it — than to try to keep it away from other foods or equipment with sesame.
As a result, several companies — including national restaurant chains like Olive Garden, Wendy’s, and Chick-fil-A and bread makers that stock grocery shelves and serve schools — are adding sesame to products that didn’t have it before."
