Seriously, I thought it was going to be some sort of cactus because of the word "desert"

But wormwood?!! seriously? wormwood grows anywhere.

I've read that one can make their homemade version of ivermectin. Main ingredient is wormwood.

My grandma used to soak wormwood in alcohol and use it whenever she wasn't feeling well (I don't recall the ailment) but it worked like a charm each time.

Growing up, I always saw that bottle in the medicine cabinet.

Oh, and, wormwood is mentioned in the Bible. No more studies needed.
