By the way, It’s finally reached 1 degree F here, with 12 mph breeze, which makes it feel like -17. Maybe tomorrow I will go outside. Not today. I don’t own snow goggles, so not risking it. Still a winter wonderland out there. Very pretty.

I was in East Texas for a layer of ice with mixed rain and snow. Saw a couple of people dumping pans of boiling water on icy windshields.

Back in the 90’s I was in Augusta Georgia for a business trip. It was a cold snap and got down into the low 30’s. There was no heat. When I asked for more they could only bring some more blankets to my room. They were in emergency mode..
