My brother in MS got walloped with an inch of snow...he said the city is paralyzed.
They don’t even have plows in Atlanta and DC.
If you know what you’re doing, you can drive in a few inches of snow. If there’s ice underneath it, it’s better to stay off the roads if you can.
For the inexperienced, slow down and leave extra space between your car and the one in front of you.
No, there are no snow plows that far south (I’ve lived in various parts of the South my whole life).
The expense isn’t worth it for the very rare snows.
Only when I lived in Virginia did I see plows.
Arkansas is lending us some.
I believe Northern Florida may have snow plows as they sometimes will get snow every few years type situation.
We got 10” here yesterday we called it “Monday”.
