14th Amendment was to give former slaves citizenship.

It wasn’t an invitation to the world to invade.

Executive orders can be reversed by next president. We need a law passed, or better yet a constitutional amendment ending birth rights for non-Americans.

Said another way, no more anchor babies for WaPo for at least four years. American citizens coming first for the leftist rags, choke on it.

This EO creates standing for the lawsuit Trump really wants.

It's a good move, but don't expect it to take effect right away.

I expected these E.O.s to be signed today - Newsmax has a header, “Trump to sign flurry of executive orders” - but all he signed were basic government business documents.

In Inglis v. Trustees (1830) and Elk v. Wilkins (1884), the Supreme Court considered the status of children who are born in the United States, of fathers who owe allegiance to a sovereignty other than the United States. In both cases, the Court ruled that such children are not even citizens, let alone natural born citizens.

It is long overdue. The Fourteenth Amendment gave the newly liberated slaves U.S. citizenship, but not the Native Americans. Native Americans were given U.S. citizenship by act of Congress, not the Fourteenth Amendment. Illegal aliens cranking out anchor babies do not have superior rights to the Native Americans.
