When our third grandchild was on the way, our daughter invited me and her husband’s parents to come and watch her ultrasound procedure.
The baby appeared on the screen, and after a few moments the tech said, “It’s a girl!” We all squealed with delight, and the baby’s face broke into a big smile.
(I wrote an article about it. This was after the pro-aborts had said that “Barbara Bush chose wrongly.” Or something to that effect, referring to GWB, and I brought that up in the article.
The local newspaper published it, but had to find an ultra liberal pastor to write a rebuttal, which they featured on the facing page that same day.🙄)
Fascinating! Hard to know if that was coincidence - probably not. For a long time I have wondered about the universality of the 'smile'; that must indicate something beyond post-Babel organized tongues. A smile is a powerful communication and can defuse the most difficult situations. I suppose the same could be said, in contrast, about the frown.
