My in-laws always had Springers, and many of their adult children do now, too. They are a lovely breed. Very smart. Sometimes TOO smart. ;)

Never had one. Always wanted one. Glorious looking dogs. We’ve stayed with Bichons. Not the brightest, but definitely loving. When I forget something, the family phrase is “mind of a Bichon.”

My cousin had a Springer gun dog. I thought that dog was the ugliest puppy I’d ever seen, and then he grew into a really beautiful dog.
