Can’t feed the dog. It wouldn’t be prudent.
Feeding News!
You should not feed a dog human food. It will become accustomed to it and refuse to eat their dog food............

In Ohio/Haiti, the dog feeds you.

If it’s that big a deal, maybe the dogs don’t have to be in the dining room during meals with guests in the first place.
We had a dog that knew the best place to stand during dinner was under the high chair. He and our young children bonded very well.
Never feed someone else's dog, especially from the table. It's why they come around looking for food, because of unauthorized feedings from the table :) typically from a grandparent or child.
I don’t blame Bush at all.
Was at a friends X-mas party a couple days ago. the next day, his dog had diarrhea all over the living room carpet and couch
Turns out another neighbor had been secretly feeding the dog at the party.
Plus its a terrible habit to train into dogs.
We had a dog that lived longer than 15 years, and its main food was table scraps.
I remember when it was polite to keep your dog away from the table when you had company.
I got two dogs that my wife gives people food to. So when we eat dinner the dogs constantly pester my wife and leave me alone. The dogs know better than to beg from me. My wife gets annoyed by that, but oh well.
Can’t stand Bush, Reagan’s biggest Deepstate/Blob mistake.
More secret detail:
Bush started with “I have a bone to pick with you.”
“YOU IMP, why the epiphany are you feeding BushDog broccoli?”
“But GHW, you weren’t eating it!” exclaimed Dana. “It’s good for BushDog!”
Bush got on him, “NO, Mr Carvey, that was imprudently imprudent. You’re an imprudent man, yes sir, we’ll be smelling that Broc all night in bed now.”
And for some reason, things went downhill from there.
This is a big deal, you do not break someone’s discipline of their dog and begging is one of the big ones, especially in a White House dining room.
If you don’t want guests feeding your dog(s) during dinner, don’t let the f-ing dog(s) in the dining room during the meal.
What we should learn for our faithful companions...
~ Love unconditionally.
~ Be forever faithful and loyal.
~ Never pretend to be someone you’re not.
~ When your loved one comes home, run to greet them with joy.
~ Appreciate attention from others and let their touch thrill you.
~ If what you want is buried, don’t stop digging until you find it.
~ Find peace in the simple joy of a long walk.
~ Take every opportunity to go for a joyride.
~ Let the fresh air and wind in your face be pure bliss.
~ When you’re happy, dance and wag your entire body.
~ Run, romp, and play every day.
~ Delight in taking naps.
~ Stretch before rising.
~ On warm days, just lie back for a while in the grass.
~ On hot days, lie back for a while under a shady tree.
~ Never bite when a purposeful growl will suffice.
And most importantly,
~ When someone you love is having a bad day, sit close, be silent, and gently nuzzle them.
It would be great if we would just live our life like our dogs, huh?
