A shocking number of young people support UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s killer, with 41 percent saying Luigi Mangione’s alleged actions are “acceptable,” an Emerson College poll has found.
Twenty-four percent of US voters ages 18 to 29 answered that Mangione’s alleged brazen execution was somewhat acceptable, and 17 percent said it was completely acceptable.
There was also a stark partisan split among those polled, with 22% of Democrats saying they find the alleged killer’s actions acceptable compared to only 12% of Republicans and 16% of independents who do so.
The poll of 1,000 voters was conducted last week.
Mangione was indicted Tuesday in New York on upgraded charges of murder as an act of terrorism.

Hopefully 40% of their celebrity idols will swing in GITMO so maybe we’ll see how they feel about that.
Socialism/communism will always be popular as long as people think they can get something for nothing.
I was reminded of “The Beekeeper”. One of the last lines in that movie was, “Do you want to follow the law or justice?”
I am NOT advocating for the death of that CEO, but I am asking the question. What happened was wrong and supporting what essentially amounts to assassination by lone gunmen is frightening. However, more of this will happen unless the question is addressed.
Hunter Biden walks. J6 remain in jail for years. OJ walked. Injustice (sanctioned in our courts) is on the rise and people noticed. I am very concerned for our future. Look how our “laws” are has been used against Trump, and two assassination attempts! We need to fix this legally or we will see more vigilantism.
I’m personally having trouble understanding all the pity and compassion for greedy corporations and individuals who kill people with organized and planned neglect for profit. Why is that? The “business is always right and completely immune from scrutiny” cult? Criminal neglect and fraud resulting in death are perfectly moral and acceptable business models?
Sometimes a common enemy just happens to be fact. And I’m personally not going to feel sorry for corporations or industries that kill people for profit. I’m having trouble believing anyone moral would. Single payer is not the cure either, the courts need to start imprisoning these greedy monsters for the greedy monsters that they are.
now the left likes lynching
No surprise there. They think it’s okay to murder babies too.
Do we poll every demographic every time someone dies? Lots of people die every day. This guy happened to be a CEO. They die too. Why all the attention and notoriety?
My question is what do these demented idiots think
^^^^^
Problem found they don’t
Hunter is their hero also
