This is more than an outrage. These are crimes against humanity that we criticize communist countries of doing.

I, like many others, donated money to help. Did it ever get to the people who were suffering? I have my doubts.
And the Democrats will probably oppose any effort the Trump administration makes to reduce government waste and seek accountability for their budget expenditures.
All upper management of FEMA needs to be terminated and many of the staff as well. People should have been screaming bloody murder that they weren’t being allowed to help their fellow Americans. FEMA should not be part of Homeland Security, it needs to be separate and totally non political.

Last weekend we did an overland camping trek through the mountains in West Virginia across a few hundred miles of single lane dirt roads over mountain passes. We passed dozens of deer camp and were amazed at the size of the RV’s and trailers they had gotten up there. If they can do it, surely the vast power of the US Government can figure it out.
But, I guess not. FEMA are just idiots.
Yah but I saw thousands of trailers along interstate 59 for Katrina victims. I guess the gov’t abandoned them because of improper insulation.

This post-event rebuild should not be a Fed action. Subject FEMA to a DOGE evaluation, trim it down to the effective parts, and let good neighbors to the reconstruction.
I’ve been following the story of a guy out there who, after FEMA shut down the road the WV coal boys built with a gate and a lock, this guy goes and cuts the lock so the local rescue crews can get in and out of chimney creek with supplies. Local LEO actually had the balls to arrest the dude, and now he’s facing misdemeanor charges. Seems FEMA relocked the gate and is requesting something like quarter of a million to add armed guards. Haven’t read or seen any further, but awaiting this guy’s next update.
