My interpretation of “Judeo-Christian” is so broad as to include anyone with a lively, or even semi-lively, conscience. They struggle with right vs. wrong within themselves and hope public policy would engage likewise.
This article is ridiculous. America was founded primarily by Christians, based upon Biblical principles (as well as borrowing other elements from Anglo Saxon law, the Romans, etc.). That said, the Biblical principles used were also in large part contained in the Old Testament, thus “Judeo-Christian values.” I don’t see the conflict.
