2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe MSRP: $89,800

Why would someone buying an SUV choose a "Coupe" edition? You simply lose storage space for a debatable gain in appearance.

Take a look at Mazda SUVs, luxury values at non-luxury prices. Also, Mazda is one of the few non-luxury SUVs which doesn’t use CVT for transmissions.

We've been looking at Maxda's CX-5/CX-50 series, so that sounds like a good starting point.

Interesting you should mention the CVT transmission. When test-driving vehicles back in 2007, my wife and I compared the 2007 Nissan Murano with the 2007 Infiniti FX35. The reason we went with the FX35 was because my wife hated the CVT transmission.

Because you already have too much money and not enough troubles.

I would adventure to say that you can't even change the oil yourself on most of these.

No sale.

Not an SUV but I have a Mazda 3 turbo with AWD.

It makes 250 hp and comes with paddle shifters.

Mazda has moved to competing with Buick and Acura because they are a small company and can’t go toe to toe with Honda, Toyota or Hyundai on the low price range.

So glad to get rid of my old German car.

My old metal box is in the shop for the 3rd time in less than a year. Probably should buy a new one but I keep thinking if I can keep it running a bit longer. I know what the problem is but getting it fixed right is the problem.

I would go for the Lexus GX-460.

My newest car is a US-made truck over twenty years old, ePercy. I’ve had it almost fifteen years. I repair and maintain it myself. Any more half-asstute questions on your mind?

Gone are the days when lackluster craftsmanship and questionable reliability.

Go to any new car dealer ship and note all the cars and trucks waiting for repairs most of them electrical issues.
