New research suggests that attractive female college students accustomed to earning high grades in person aren’t making the same marks during remote learning.
A Swedish study, published in the journal Economics Letters, probed the impact of a student’s looks on their performance, both in the classroom and online.
The better their looks, the higher their grades for some in-person courses such as business and economics, according to the study. Courses like math and physics — where scoring is based more on tests than projects, speaking and reports — did not see the connection.
But when the courses were taught online, the grades of attractive females dropped.
Attractive male students — who, according to PsyPost, “tend to be more persistent and have a greater influence on their peers” — suffered no such setback.

My BFF is a STUNNER. Her GRANDMA was a Pin-Up Girl in the 40’s. They have won the Genetic Lottery in that bloodline of females, for sure!
Anyhow, her daughter was also a stunner. She worked for Hooters, but as a Hostess, not a scantily-clad waitress. Her Mom (my BFF) was NOT please about it but Daughter explained:
‘Mom! I’m ONLY going to LOOK LIKE THIS for a very short time in my life. I’m going to make the most of it! I’m NOT doing ANYTHING illegal or immoral. I’m. Just. Pretty!’
The girl put herself through a private Catholic College and came out with an advanced degree in Accounting with NO Student Debt and went on to work for very impressive accounting firms in her career before she settled down and became a wife and THEN a Mother. :)
God GIVES YOU THE TOOLS you need to get through life. Some fail to recognize them. ;)

True. And men at the EXTREME high end of the intelligence scale keep that fact to themselves when in the company of women, particularly strong intelligent competitive women.
Especially if they happen to be married to such women and wish to remain so.

On second thoughts. Her answer about consoling the children seems strange. Like she does not need to be consoled. Check her phone records. Women are not very good at this because of their small brains.
