Not trying to be a jerk (Okay, maybe my inner Karen is showing.) Qui tam is my favorite legal strategy for holding a-holes accountable, and it pays well. Carry on, Sir Knight.

Yep. NYPD is issuing subpoenas for all of her social media accounts. She better hope to G-d that she isn’t on Tinder, or the other swinger sites else she become suspect number 2.

You are confusing Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B.

Your post was an accurate description of Part B but was not applicable to Part A.

Also known as Lincoln’s Laws as he adopted them during the Civil War to get vendors who sold spoiled goods to the government.

I have noticed recently that my memory for spelling is decreasing. It has something to do with fighting lung cancer and losing over half of my left lung. Really beating me up.

Thank you for the spelling correction.

Denied insurance isn’t enough to make you want to kill the CEO because in this country, you can still get healthcare even if your insurance is denied. Doctors aren’t going to let you die because you don’t have insurance.

“most people don’t realize that Medicare Advantage plans are one gigantic trap, such that if that’s the way they go, it’s unlikely they can afford to change back to A & B ... all of those plans promise the world to get people to sign up, but once they sign up, they’re screwed ...”

Well summarized, it’s a total can of worms. Bottom line is don’t even think about today, think about 20 years from now, as you’ll have medical conditions you never dreamed of and when that happens do you REALLY want this clown (well, his replacement, technically) deciding what medical care you get.

If you can afford about $5k per year ($10k if married and both on Medicare), then you can get the best care in the world - which is Traditional Medicare. Try to save some of that money with a ‘Medicare Advantage’ (HMO) Plan...then good luck!

we’re paying under $12,000 for the pair of us, which includes Plan F supplement (the best, no longer offered) for each and a gold-plated Plan D supplement (still almost always more expensive prices than goodrx or kroger) for each of us ...

best medical care in the world, and can go to practically any doctor, clinic, or hospital in the United States with no cost ...

we’ve got numerous friends who are just now finding out that they’re trapped and screwed in a Medicare Advantage plan.
