Guy was masked in the cold, waited 10 minutes, shot him several times with a silencer on his pistol, ran down and alley, jumped on a bike and vanished in the area of Central Park.
Someone had a plan.
Yup. Surprised this hasn’t happened more often.
I have it on good authority that massive layoffs will be taking place at United Healthcare by the end of the month. The jobs are moving to India.
This appears to be a targeted hit.
so, que bono?
NewMax update - After shooting, shooter walked through alley, got on city E-Bike that has GPS tracking built it. Cell phone found in the alley - not known if it belongs to shooter. Shooter last seen on E-Bike in Central Park.
The local police chief said something to the effect: "Our suspect profile is a person who doesn't like the IRS -- which doesn't narrow this down a bit."
Another happy Medicare Advantage customer, I suspect.
Please hold responses “I get free yoga with my plan”, obviously insurance for the healthy 65-75 group that pays out little and rakes in billions from FedGov was SOMEBODY’S idea of how to make a killing.
Medicare, as such, contained lots of contradictions which have now grown so large as to be close to toppling the whole system.
Two people, one gun?
UnitedHealth does have some great wellness programs, in their defense. More people walking several thousand steps a day for up to 1,000 a year in an HSA and you would have many few lifestyle related diseases.
UHC is inept or just plain greedy. I got tired of whenever my doctor tried to solve an issue they just denied it. I’ve got their “coverage” but just pay out of pocket to get my medical issues addressed. Back to Medicare a and b next year.
Sounds like he pissed off someones husband or maybe a boys father
The miscreant absconded
This guy has killed more senior citizens than Fauci by denying care.
Friend of Hillary. Correction, ex-friend!
I doubt he denied the care

Mr Thompson was in charge of UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement and Community & State divisions from 2004 until 2021 when they made him CEO of UnitedHealthcare Group. He was a 30 year old when put in charge of the Medicare Unit. Denied so many claims that ended up in increasing profits for the company earning him the top spot at age 47. Before anyone gives condolences, think about the pile of bodies he stood upon to reach that $10+ million dollar salary he and his family enjoyed.
Γιατί ο μισθός της αμαρτίας είναι θάνατος
It begins.
“Back to Medicare a and b next year.”
be aware that if you do that, if you have serious pre-existing medical issues, that you won’t be able to purchase a Medicare Supplement to pay for the deductibles, copays, and 20% of everything else that A & B won’t pay for ... in the best case, if you CAN buy a supplement, it will cost more than if you had A & B and a supplement from day one.
most people don’t realize that Medicare Advantage plans are one gigantic trap, such that if that’s the way they go, it’s unlikely they can afford to change back to A & B ... all of those plans promise the world to get people to sign up, but once they sign up, they’re screwed ...
As CEO, He is responsible for the model that denied the care.
I researched them in detail, including lawsuits back in January when I was fighting denial of care with Humana.
I had to appeal seven times to get them to keep paying. Luckily I put them in a double bind and threatened their review DR with malpractice for giving opinions in an area of medical practice that was not his specialty.
Humana and United use the same software algorithm to deny care. There is a class action suit against them for using it.
The scam was that big that I considered a Key Tam Lawsuit against both of them on behalf of the government. I’ve worked on these suits before and my clients won real big... as in Billions of Dollars, against big pharma.
They are going to find the shooter in a fairly short time but they will not know it because he is going to be a corpse somewhere.
“most people don’t realize that Medicare Advantage plans are one gigantic trap”
And the company the government hired to review the claims appeals is owned by the Carlisle Group. Remember the investment firm that George Bush Sr. represented after he left the presidency. Ironic that his son started these “Advantage Plans.”
