Steering infected donor organs to infected people is ok. But what about the reverse question: what about liver and kidney transplants from healthy people to HIV positive people? Is there any linkage between HIV and liver or kidney failure?

I have in mind the issues that arise (or used to arise) with regard to liver transplants to chronic alcoholics. If there is a waiting list and multiple compatible recipients for an available liver, do we prioritize people who did not induce their disease?
