I have been on hundreds of jet airline flights and it never occurred to me “Sure, I will jump out of this jet for $200k.”

Using the Fed Inflation calculator, $200,000 then is equivalent to $1,558,834.57 today….and that is using the Fed’s understated inflation numbers.

Exactly what I was telling my grandson before he went and did it! The instructors wouldn’t let him jump until he shed 25 pounds. So he went on a diet and then jumped. Now he’s hooked and doing it frequently. I keep trying to persuade him to see a shrink, but he just laughs at me.
