President-elect Donald Trump, who has faced two assassination attempts, has been vocal about releasing government files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Kennedy's assassination has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories for decades, with some believing he was killed as part of a larger plot potentially involving organized crime or government agencies, such as the CIA, and that assassin Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone.
In December 2022, a CIA spokesperson told Newsweek that 95 percent of the agencies' files related to the Kennedy assassination had "been released in their entirety."

I was six years old then. Although I have always been a little older than my years, I certainly grew up some after this. I followed everything about the assassination and its aftermath. It spurred my interest in history and politics. I was looking at a photo of the funeral cortege earlier today. I saw the riderless horse and heard in my mind the drum cadence and choked up a bit.
Whoever did this committed a monstrous crime against this country. I want the culpability for it finally settled.
“Seeing my mother cry that day broke my heart.”
Seeing my mother bawling the day he was elected got me interested in politics.
Is there a video of the car stopping as I have read,,?
Allegations that the car stopped and the gunfire started
It is releasing info that the Deep State is indeed real and is “supposedly” in place for our own good.
I was 4 1/2. I remember nothing of this, except that my older, female, teenage cousin cried about it.
I was 7 years old, i remember like yesterday...
Same here. Heard the announcement on the school PA system. "President Kennedy has been shot!" A few minutes later they announced he died, and we were all sent home. I sent $5 to the Kennedy Memorial fund (that was just about all the money I had!) Received a card in the mail from Jacquelin thanking for the support. The address on the envelope was typewritten. Still have it.
I think she was probably murdered. She was a hell of a journalist. The truth is out there.
It was my 13th birthday and a Friday...just like today.
They let us out of school early but didn’t tell us why.
A lot of the women teachers were crying as we were dismissed and left out the door. I got home to find what was supposed to be my birthday cake laying on the kitchen floor in front of the stove. I found my mother hunched over/laying on the living room floor in front of the TV balling her eyes out.
I’ll never forget it...
Wow.
I have never heard of that but this is what I found:

She didn’t kill herself.
What was the honor? I am not sure that I really want to subscribe to the Washington Post to find out.
Focus was on one shooter in the drainage culvert, showing the shooting and his egress through the tunnel system. George H. Bush photograph in Dallas that day was shown.
I can't find it anymore, and I am wondering if any here can direct me to it.
I was 12 as well.
We got sent home from school early - but nobody was crying
I was in Catholic school and the Nuns took us over the church for prayers and then we all went home.
I don’t remember any tears, either.
If you look on Youtube for “LBJ’s mistress interview”, I think she mentions all the people in that meeting. LBJ was there.
Have you read the Mark Shaw book, "The Reporter Who Knew Too Much"? I have not, but was tempted.
There are some people in this country and in our schools who clapped when they heard the news.
No, I haven’t read it, but I heard Mark Shaw interviewed on the radio.
He’s probably on YouTube. He knows the scoop.....pun intended. lol
