Elon and Vivek - go after the low hanging fruit first
self | 11/14/24 | self

As Elon and Vivek are making a list (and checking it twice) I urge them to go after the low hanging fruit first in their great crusade to slash the bloated federal government.

The lowest of the low hanging fruit to go after is the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (aka The Corporation for Propaganda Broadcasting) and its nasty little child National Public Radio (aka National Propaganda Radio).

These two entities spew a constant stream of anti-american and anti-Trump sewage 24 x 7. If Elon and Vivek wipe them out cat ladies and beta cucks will be soiling their huggies and taking huge bites out of their comfort pillows.

I urge Elon and Vivek to create an electronic dashboard showing how much the taxpayers have saved from slashing useless government agencies. In addition they should have an electronic "deport-o-meter" showing how many illegal aliens have been deported and the amount of money taxpayers have saved.

As this project gathers steam, we need to pressure Congress to act on the waste and corruption they identify.

Simply identifying it as William Proxmire did with his Golden Fleece awards won’t cut it.

Action must be demanded of Congress.

I like the way you think. Justice is free - it pays off, in the end.

Well, they aren’t even in there yet, but they are showing that they are serious about their mission.

IRS needs to revoke the tax exempt status of all the lefty non-profits, including those who aid and abet illegal immigration and aid and abet leftist riots.

That requires no Congressional action—is totally administrative.

The big thing would be to establish a “grant czar”, who would have to review and approve every single grant that any federal agency wants to issue.

I’m sure Trump could do this by executive order.

Well, let’s wait & see how Thune reacts. Does he support Trump this time, or does he do the same thing as his first term?

Get rid of the credit card companies, too.

No. Just pay your card off at the end of the month. Treat your card like it is cash from your bank account. I have paid no interest on my cards in 35 years. The banks call us "Dead Beats."

I bet every industry has at least one major regulatory problem they’d love to see undone. And not because it’s a serious issue but just because compliance is a major burden especially for smaller businesses.

Audit EPA, cut out all resources misappropriated to non statutory activities, save about five billion right there.

Rid the nation of public unions. FDR made them, Trump can unmake them.

Trump supports them. Even tried to increase them but got struck down in court.

Isn’t Delaware the same in terms of no limits on the APR that credit card companies can charge?

I see your point, but I wonder if it wouldn’t be better to shut them down now and deny the left a powerful mouthpiece.

As long as they exist they’ll be broadcasting post-hypnotic suggestions to commuters.

I thought I was kidding when I started the previous sentence but I wonder....
