It was questioned by Joe Rogan on his podcast and led me to do some digging. Here is what I found... It is neither a law NOR an EO. It IS a DoD directive signed and approved by that idiot, Kathleen Hicks, Biden's Deputy Sec Def. The DoD Directive 5240.01 is upsetting a few- some rightly so, and others, on the left, because they want it hidden. FB "fact checkers said it wasn't true and censored it. I tried posting to my groups but FB removed it. It was censored. In This section, 1.2, the paragraph, k.(3), the president could easily approve such uses should he ever declare martial law- and just when might he do this? Remember the riots during the "Summer of Love" or Jan6th? Those riots were useful to the democrats then, and certainly could be useful to them should Trump win the election and a good many democrats lose their seats in Congress (which I am praying for!) k. The Defense Intelligence Components will only conduct, or provide support for the conduct of, covert activities: (1) In times of war declared by Congress; (2) During a period covered by a report from the President to Congress in accordance with Public Law 93-148; or (3) When such actions have been approved by the President and directed by the Secretary of Defense. **(Public law 93-148 (c) The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities,or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are exercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war, (2) specific statutory authorization, or (3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces. NOTE: Since the democrats have been claiming we are dangers to the country and "fascists", imagine how they can twist THIS.)** Now we come to the most interesting part of the directive, found in Section 3, 3.3 (c)... "(c) Assistance in responding with assets with potential for lethality, or any situation in which it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force, including death or serious bodily injury. It also includes all support to civilian law enforcement officials in situations where a confrontation between civilian law enforcement and civilian individuals or groups is reasonably anticipated. Such use of force must be in accordance with DoDD 5210.56, potentially as further restricted based on the specifics of the requested support." I have a word for the insane leftist traitors who want control of this country and its citizens- You will be surprised to find that our local and state police and our TRUE military will NEVER turn on their families, friends, neighbors and homes. They understand that their oath is to the CONSTITUTION- NOT the democrat party. In China during the Tienanmen square incident, the local army would not attack the protestors. The Chinese leadership called in army units from a long distance, told them the city was in "Rebellion" and ordered them to crack down, which they did.
We also have the example of the Civil War, where Lincoln deliberately provoked an incident, told everyone *THEY* started it, and then convinced millions of men to invade other states and burn cities.
