Can't believe no one has a thread going on the Starship launch. They just caught the booster in the chopsticks! Awesome!

Starship is in orbit and will be doing a soft landing in the Indian Ocean in about 15 minutes.

Maybe THIS will shut off the spew of garbage from Drudgereport concerning Tesla, SpaceX, Musk, etc. for a few days. I curse Matt Drudge daily every time I look at that site, which I have reason to believe is owned by MSN.

Drudge sold his website to China for $100,000,000 about seven years ago.

He has NOTHING to do with it.

That was amazing. Today is my birthday (71), and that was the best birthday present ever.

Elon Musk is a steely eyed missile man!

HOW INCREDIBLE!!

Elon and his team did this. Not a bloated, out-of-control, lying, and intrusive government.

It is something we can be proud of in a screwed-up world.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday! Do you remember any of the Mercury flights? I can remember a few. John Glenn and Gordon Cooper, specifically. As a youngster It was a sense of wonderment for me.

To think that we could see people on Mars in our lifetime is mind-boggling.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

That’s was insane!! I can easily say that was the most amazing thing I’ve watched in my life. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Well, 9/11 was equally unbelievable to witness, for horrible reasons. Today was positive amazing.

“Maybe THIS will shut off the spew of garbage from Drudgereport concerning Tesla, SpaceX, Musk, etc. “

Are you kidding?? They’ll hate him even more. The last thing they want is for him have any kind of success.

The left hates Musk even more than Trump!

And why are you still going to Sludge? It’s become an anti conservative screed. Are you a masochist?

Can someone please reach out to Elon and ask to have my twitter account reinstated?

I received a permanent ban for reporting death threats against DJT. I was initially suspended and after being reinstated, I followed Dan Bongino and then was immediately permanently banned.

I am in a ‘read only’ mode but am limited to freaking TEN POSTS per day.

I regularly see people who wished death and violence on Republicans are still happily posting away.

"...recruiting Marxist astronuts..."

I really hope you're kidding, I want to believe this is sarcasm because if it's not it's misguided in my opinion.

You cannot build a future on Marxist ideals, you cannot build a future on the subjugation on half of the population, it's like building a house on sand, it will not stand.

We build a future on hope, peace and prosperity and many other positive things, we build a future for all just as you build a house on rock with solid materials, you have to build to last.

"Maybe THIS will shut off the spew of garbage from Drudgereport"

Sadly it won't, the LEFT cannot stomach success unless it comes from the government, all other forms of success must be destroyed.

When you look at how far technology has developed in the past 100 years, I can’t even imagine what the next 100 years will bring.

The Apollo program was limited. NASA wants a station on the moon, which would require a higher hauling capacity than the Apollo ships.

Also, the engines used on the Apollo were hand built, almost individually bespoke. There are no instructions for their assembly; men developed particular skills and expertise for their assembly, and those men are gone. NASA dropped the ball by not continuing the production of the engines so that future generations of machinists and assembly specialists could continue to be trained. Once NASA ran out of prebuilt engines, they had to start from scratch, or continue to buy engines from Russia.

On the positive side, there are several companies redeveloping the technology. Elon Musk is not only developing rocket engines, he has built a factory to mass produce them.
