This Election Will Need More Heroes (AKA Election-Theft Conspirators)

True political courage — the principled stand, the elevation of country over party pressure, the willingness to sacrifice a career to protect the common good — has become painfully rare in a polarized world. It deserves to be celebrated and nurtured whenever it appears, especially in defense of fundamental American institutions like our election system. The sad truth, too, is the country will probably need a lot more of it in the coming months.

In state after state, Republicans have systematically made it harder for citizens to vote, and harder for the election workers who count those votes to do so. They are challenging thousands of voter registrations in Democratic areas, forcing administrators to manually restore perfectly legitimate voters to the rolls. They are aggressively threatening election officials who defended the 2020 election against manipulation. They are trying to invalidate mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day, even if they meet the legal requirements of a postmark before the deadline. They are making it more difficult to certify election results, and even trying to change how states apportion their electors, in hopes of making it easier for Donald Trump to win or even help him overturn an election loss.

Though many of these moves happened behind closed doors, this campaign is hardly secret. And last month, Mr. Trump directly threatened to prosecute and imprison election officials around the country who disagree with his lies.

Against this kind of systematic assault on the institutions and processes that undergird American democracy, the single most important backstop are the public servants, elected and volunteer, who continue to do their jobs.

Consider Mike McDonnell, a Republican state senator from Nebraska, who showed how it’s done...

The Rats are running scared that their blatant schemes to steal another election won’t work this time.

Part of the Democrats' problem is they can't use their tried-and-tested election-stealing tactic of running their year-long violent Black Lives Matter/Antifa wild thug mob riots nationwide as they did throughout 2020. Their year-long 2020 nationwide violent BLM/Antifa riots enabled all Democrat politicians to constantly scream, "Hey if you don't want all this nationwide chaos under President Trump to continue for the next 4 years, vote for Potato46/Laughing Hyena!"

And it worked, sadly for America.

But today, the Democrat Party still has very effective subsidiaries called The Mainstream Media, Academia, Hollyweird, Late-Night TV Talk Shows, Left-Wing Corporate CEOs, the Democrat power-brokers (Barry Soetoro, Pelosi, Bill & Hillary), the Cheney family, the McCain family, the Pence family, the Bush family, the Romney family, other Establishment RINOs in Washington DC, etc.

There are still a lot of Election-Stealing subsidiaries in the Democrat Party.

For a moment, it seemed they were accurately describing Donald Trump.

In state after state, Republicans have systematically made it harder for citizens to vote Democrats to cheat.

There...fixed. Everything mentioned is because it was a source of Democrat cheating in the last election. Don't insult people by telling them they're not smart enough to get an ID. Sadly, the Old Gray Lady has turned into a whore who prostitutes herself for the Left. She wouldn't recognize the truth if it punched her in the nose.

Need more Heroes! Election heroes to the NYT are people who will make sure the count comes out with Camel a WINNER! the folks who run ballots through the counter hundreds of times and the hackers who manipulate the computer votes or stuff the drop boxes or who bring in millions of wetbacks to vote. All get smiles and “Job Well Done”s from the Democrats.

Very true. The BLM riots were specifically tailored to disrupt Trump’s campaign and help the rats steal the election.

And while the 2020 Covid pandemic was not specifically started to defeat Trump, the democrats used the chaos to their advantage.

This is a dogwhistle. By "Heroes" what the NYT really means is someone with a rifle and good aim to rid us of this "existential threat to democracy."

Make no mistake. The Left is in a full panic right now. It's the homestretch and the polls are moving away from Kamala. The joy has faded.

Wow, the NYT is in full propaganda mode.

“....Republicans have systematically made it harder for citizens to vote, and harder for the election workers who count those votes to do so.........”

Wait a minute. Republicans are making it harder for “non-citizens” to vote. They are also demanding that election workers should be chosen from both political parties and not be biased and one-sided.

Lies, but then it’s the Slimes, so who would expect anything else?

Citizens who are eligible to vote have no trouble voting. If they are too dumb to find their voting precinct office, or cannot understand the rules (produce a photo ID, etc.) then perhaps they are not informed enough to cast a vote. Noncitizens and those not eligible to vote should find it impossible to vote. Is that being too hard on them?
