Kamala’s ‘Charm’ Blitzkrieg Fails Miserably

There are some people so incompetent that they could blow a tap-in putt. “Hand me the wedge,” they say as they overlook a 2-inch gap. You can’t help these people, even though they are likely the most in need of saving anyone, because you can’t save people from themselves. This, I suspect, is why the handlers of Kamala Harris have chosen to run the campaign they have.

Hiding is the only defense against incompetence. The only problem is that no matter where you hide, there you are. A person can escape a lot, themselves is not one of them.

After two months of hiding not working, as the public notices the Democratic Party’s nominees for president and vice president haven’t really done much talking beyond scripted, vapid stump speeches, the Harris/Walz campaign has decided to launch a “charm offensive.” They decided to let their candidates talk in what can only be described as either uber-friendly or softly-scripted interviews with supporters…and they still did horribly.

You can tell a lot about the amount of faith a campaign has in its candidates by the people they’re willing to talk to. For example, Donald Trump will do pretty anything and to almost anyone, unless they’ve mistreated him in the past.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, on the other hand, would need their own family members screened and topics agreed to before they’d sit down for breakfast with them. (In Kamala’s case you might be able to understand it, as news reports indicated her husband allegedly has no problem smacking a woman around if she displeases him.)

Aside from a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale of toughness interview with 60 Minutes, Democrats could not have played it safer than they have.

Charm is not what anyone would honestly derive from her record of the past three and half years of failure, incompetence, and mendacity. No wonder she and her cohorts have played this campaign so dishonestly, as she would be better off as an unknown quantity rather than an incumbent of sorts.

Funny, in the past, incumbency had been seen as an advantage for a presidential candidate. Even her party has no confidence in her.

Kamala is a uber left California liberal who lies incessantly and is capable of communicating a coherent thought. I just don’t see a majority of midwesterners embracing her. If they do, the country is too far gone to be salvaged.

The past couple of weeks have been remarkable. Kamala’s campaign pretty clearly changed their strategy. Why would someone who is winning do that? They wouldn’t. She is a terrible candidate. People who support her are literally stupid or evil.

This is the video wherein Kamala got caught using a teleprompter at a Town Hall meeting. Supposedly just speaking improptu - yet her responses are scripted. How charming!

And in this particular clip, she's speaking as if it's her own thoughts, as she says she didn't ask if anyone was Republican or Democrat etc. and I don't know the context, but she was demonstrating her regard for humanity despite political affiliation ...what a 'woman of the people'. All scripted.

That’s a nice piece, thanks for posting. This sort of - I wouldn’t classify it as a “charm offensive”, it’s more like a greeting line at a cheesy reception - this sort of effort is something you do at the beginning of a campaign, not at the end. Kammy’s real problem is that to know her is to loathe her, and her campaign staff up to now has sought to ensure that nobody knows her by hiding her. Now she pops up grinning like some perverted Jack In The Box. Vote for Pennywise! Scares hell out of the kiddies...
