In one of the more dishonest omissions ever seen on Fox News – which is saying something – viewers of Thursday’s episodes of The Ingraham Angle and Jesse Watters Primetime were left with the impression that victims of Hurricane Helene are getting shafted by the federal government.
Fox News has been working feverishly to reelect Donald Trump, whose false election claims the network promoted and, in return, got the business end of a $787.5 million settlement in a defamation case last year. For Fox News, it’s the cost of doing business, which is lying.
To wit, on Thursday, Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters aired a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris speaking in hurricane-ravaged Georgia the previous day. As Harris spoke on Ingraham’s show, the Fox News chyron read, “Kamala: Here’s $750 that’ll do the trick.”

It’s $750 per family. That’s an insult. FEMA should have been on scene as soon as they knew NC was going to get hammered. Now, because they have blown it, their solution to the NC problems is to fix the optics of how badly they dropped the ball. Note how Harris can’t even respond about the $750 without a written script. And there are people out there who want her to lead the country? She can’t even read a statement without help yet they want her to negotiate world treaties?
If the Democrats cheat enough and this clown gets into office, this country is doomed. Oh, BTW Harris, the top 10% (i.e., the rich) DO PAY MORE THAN THEIR FAIR SHARE! The top 10% pay more in taxes than the remaining 90%. Raise their taxes more and watch their capital leave along with economic growth, job creation, and stable prices. Also, rather than sit on the sidelines and bitch about “fair share”, you had almost 4 years to do something about it but did nothing! You and Congress wrote the Tax Code and left the loopholes in place so your donors can finagle their taxes. To me, the rich should pay LESS in taxes. They do more for the US economy than the gov’t does by a long shot!

They may get more later and I think people probably know that, but did Harris say it at the time? This was an awful performance on her part and Harris left herself open to condemnation. This is more Mediaite pouncing on Fox than Fox pouncing on Harris.

We had a flash flood in 2017.
