Counting Down my iTunes Play Count (VANITY) -- Day #24
AC’s iTunes Directory | 9/30/2024 | Alberta's Child

Posted on 09/30/2024 11:43:05 AM PDT by Alberta's Child

Day #24 of the Top 50 songs on my iTunes playlist -- ranked in reverse order by play frequency from #50 to #1 and presented here on a series of FR threads. I've been posting them here on a new thread that compiles the growing list one day at a time over the course of several months. I only post them on weekdays and may miss a day or two here and there, so this will probably be done by early November.

And to show my gratitude to the FR management for giving us all a forum to post vanity threads like this, I'll be making a contribution for the current AND next quarterly fundraisers. I would encourage everyone on these threads to do the same! :-)

Have fun with this, folks!

Pinging to those from the previous threads. Seems a bit appropriate today, for those coping with the flooding in North Carolina, Tennessee and other parts of the Southeast.

Let me know if you'd like to be added or removed from the ping list!

Not a huge CCR fan, but that’s an iconic song.

“A Whiter Shade of Pale” (1967) is the oldest one on the list. I only recognize three others.

I make no promises, but you might want to hang around until the end of this list to see if a couple of them show up. LOL.

That’s remarkable. I never even thought of how old (or new) some of these are!

Are the lists available directly, for Apple Music subscribers?

“A Whiter Shade of Pale” reached #4 on Boss Radio 93 KHJ in the early summer of 1967, and it has remained a favorite Oldie ever since.

I don’t know about Apple Music subscribers. I just use my old iTunes application on my PC and order the songs by play frequency to come up with this list.
