I hope not. I’m going on a cruise next month.

Torpets is due West of Moscow. The prevailing winds run East to West.

If a nuclear warhead had detonated, the NY Times would have reported yesterday. We would not be reading about it first in the UK DailyMail.

The article says they did it with US intelligence help. And this gives a new meaning to the phrase Use em or lose em. There could be radioactive contamination I would expect. And it could have been expelled high into the atmosphere to land on lots of people in far away countries. Not very bright.

Poll question;

If Russia were to attack the US now would you rather have the current administration in charge more than a Trump transition team ?

No, these destroyed nuclear weapons need no longer concern the West - or anybody else.

The nuclear arsenal of the aggressive autocrat V. Putin has now been reduced by two. I.e., there are now two fewer nuclear-tipped missiles aimed at, say, a U.S. military base. Grounds for celebration!

There is no way a kamikaze drone was able to penetrate 8 feet of reinforced concrete missile silo to hit a Sarmat not only in its silo but also inside it’s launch cradle both of which is designed to take a 476 kiloton Trident warhead 100 meters away. No way no how it’s neocon jerking off fantasy to think a few hundred lb drone could do that. The Russians were loading up munitions trains and drones hit the rail cars. The propaganda is deep with the globalhomos lately.

Ukrainian kamikaze drone strikes 'struck Putin's Satan-2 nuclear missiles'

Putin supporters shedding tears over the destruction of a weapon literally named "Satan."

Unbelievable.

There is a big difference between destroying the payload carrying equipment vs. destroying the warhead and compromising its containment vessel.

No UKR drone has the range to reach the Plesetsk test range in the Arkhangelsk region 800km north of Moscow. The explosion of the liquid fuel wiped out the test facility; the 4th failure.

Nuclear armed strategic missiles are kept in underground silos or tunnels or on subs many of which are at sea ready to strike a warmongerer. Start attacking strategic assets and the whole world will be at DEFCON 1.

There was an explosion (not nuclear). There was damage.

By satellite imagery, the damage is revealed to include a portion of the site, not the nuclear missile bunkers. Those are protected more than the surrounding buildings anyway, so a drone strike would not be expected to penetrate the SATAN-2 silos.

The damage to the facility and munitions stored there was significant, but insufficient to change the course of the war. The estimates of loss of munitions range from 2 days worth to two weeks worth - nobody knows exactly - based on what the Russian Ministry of Defense has previously said it expends per day. But RUssia has almost limitless production and access to munitions so it doesn’t change anything in the war.

NATO/Deep State wants to provoke all out war with Russia and if it takes striking nuclear bunkers, they’ll do it.

I live outside a military base in the US. Last night I heard what sounded like many of the planes warming up and taking off. I wonder if this incident had anything to do with that.

The idea that strategic deterrence level nuclear hardware can be interdicted with cheap off the shelf technology emanating from within a second or third tier adversaries border has got to raise some eyebrows…
