BALCH SPRINGS — Interstate 635 has reopened after a truck spilled chicken and alligator parts Wednesday evening closing a portion of the freeway, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
TxDOT said a truck lost part of its load of chicken and alligator parts on I-635 towards I-20 westbound before the 175 ramp.
The spill was reported around 4:30 p.m., TxDOT said. Three lanes were closed until the freeway reopened a little before 9 p.m.

Gator tail is arguably more difficult to cook than deer meat.
If done correctly it has its own unique flavor and is the slightest bit sweet.
Done wrong and your eating rubber.

I completely agree. These kids can be millionaires right outta high school if they have any talent and work ethic. No loyalty whatsoever. That’s been busted.

I’ve never been a UT fan because of Austin. I have to say, UT looked pretty impressive the way they handled the wolverines.

Now that Texas is in the SEC and will somewhat regularly play Tennessee, they ought to make a new tradition. Every time Tennessee plays at Austin, Texas, both teams ought to spend a day touring the Alamo in San Antonio, and learning why the Tennessee mascot is the Volunteers. They could do it also when Tennessee plays the Aggies at Arlington (though the drive would be a lot further).
As loathe as the Bama fan in me hates to admit it, the Vols have the best mascot name of SEC teams. It's a reminder that there was a time when Tennesseeans were so proud of their history of helping their fellow Americans be free from tyranny, that they made their motto The Volunteer State.
