Why not try to keep more wealth within the family, instead of making somebody else richer?

He gets to enjoy the perks of wealth — that he made simply by investing in the stock market and then charging ppl for his management services — but his adult children don’t? What a POS.

If his daughter was a loafer or on drugs I could understand his reaction. If she or her husband were working and asking for help and he refused, he’s an ass*ole

Warren's response was to tell her to "go to the bank like everyone else."I assume that Warren had paid for her college education. So what else does she need? She should be to get a decent job and support herself.

With the costs of supplies to do a remodel today, 41K is cheap the appliances alone will run you 10K, flooring, sink, counters, cabinets 41K is cheap!!

He’s a scumbag. Thinks inheritance tax should be 100%. This of course is because all his money is in the Gates foundation. Foundations are the way wealthy families maintain their fortunes. Everybody else should give it to the government.

He probably figured eventually, he would be timidly asked to ‘forgive’ the loan, because his daughter may not have been organized enough to continue payments, and he may have also figured that he would be to weak to say ‘No’ at that point.

Wouldn’t you think he’d set up stock portfolios for his children when they were young and contribute to them?
