Brittany Mahomes questioning her support of Donald Trump after his blistering take down of Taylor Swift left her 'shaken to the core'
The Daily Mail ^ | 16 Sep 2024 | James Vituscka

Brittany Mahomes is 'deeply bothered' by Donald Trump's very public attack on her close friend Taylor Swift, according to sources who claim the Kansas City Chiefs WAG is questioning her support for the former president.

Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a post about Trump, 78, on social media.

Weeks later, Taylor, 34, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris' bid for president - an action that drove a reported 338,000 visits to the federal voter registration website after she shared a link on Instagram.

Trump hit back in predictably blistering style on his Truth Social platform, claiming 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT' - prompting Brittany, 29, to 'question' if she will continue to endorse his campaign.

'She is questioning her support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor, saying he hates her,' a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.

'This deeply bothered Brittany because Taylor is like a sister to her and she has done absolutely nothing wrong.

'She didn't mention Trump in her post and is allowed to speak her mind.'

The source added that Trump's decision to react in such a hateful manner upset Brittany.

'She does not believe in hate in any form and loves Taylor so much,' the insider continued. 'This shook her to the core.'

They added: 'This doesn't mean she is suddenly voting Kamala. It has just made her more aware of supporting him so publicly.'

Dear Brittany No one cares

Brittany was HELPING Trump...

This was a stupid, unforced error on Trump's part. It shouldn't be a GOAL to piss people off. It might make him feel better for minute, but it hurts his chances to WIN! And, we NEED him to win!

Trump won twice.
Got more votes the second time.
He didn’t drive people away, he grew his vote total.

Because he proved he wasn’t like other Swamp R team members past and present.

Trump has had to campaign for 4 years because of a stolen election, motivating his voters not to start killing the thieves and conspirators who stole the election, but sticking through him dodging lawfare, bullets and two presidential candidates...

Keeping the nation from killing each other is one job Trump has had for 4 years.
A nation that declared war on him in 2015 when he announced his run.

Many good people here may never understand that..

Your mileage will vary

I’ll go ahead and run when the majority of America is finally looking for somebody who’ll leave them the hell alone.

If Trump becomes president, I won’t give a damn what he says about any celebrity. NOW, every comment should be calculated to win votes. This won over no one.

“ Taylor is a great entertainer, but she is politically ignorant.””

Exactly. Reagan was great at putting his critics down.
“Well there you go again”

If only these types would figure that out in a hurry we may just stand a chance. There’s too many who get bigger down with the minutiae rather than focus on the big picture.

If I expected everyone to express themselves wisely, or in a conciliatory and likable manner, I wouldn’t be on Free Republic.

There are some people here who are downright crude, and a lot who are blatantly racist, and their main drive is to show off on social media. I disregard those.

But there are plenty of people here whose language may be rough, uncultured and sometimes a little smartass - . but if they are also intelligent and make sense, I disregard the rough edges.

There have been some things, over the years, that I think Trump shouldn’t have said; but I think lots of voters disregard Trump’s ‘rough edges’. They hear what he says about their lives, the problems in this country, and what we’re all going through.

If Trump tries to change his nature just to get votes, he’ll just be another politician. We’re tired of those; and frankly, I don’t know of anything Trump has said that reaches the dangerous level of Democrat rhetoric against him. THEY are to blame for two attempts at Trump’s life.

Every vote?

Thats silly

Also silly to think anyone who can’t think for themselves but cares more for Taylor swift than the good of the country will ever be swayed to him

Tell Dems and Taylor Swift quit driving voters toward Trump by being a hateful idiot

Try that

Kamala couldn’t get endorsed by Beyoncé so the Democrats figured Taylor would be a good second choice. Democrats are about sloppy seconds in 2024.

You are incapable of looking through the lens of the gullible. All I care about is that TRUMP AND VANCE MUST WIN.

Yes, we do understand that. We also understand that he needs to win in order to accomplish anything, which is why we get frustrated that he does so many stupid things that jeopardize his ability to win.

I am thinking it was some sort of attempt to troll, but no reason for Trump saying that is clear.

Actually, thinking on it more, it sounds like a reference to one of her songs.
