We aren’t even sure King Arthur was real.

This is stupid . Everyone knows Merlin is still alive and aging backward . So he must be a little kid by now

There almost was a King Arthur, though not the King Arthur everyone thinks of. Arthur was the older brother of King Henry VIII, but died before becoming King, hence Henry VIII.

I watched a documentary on the History Channel regarding whether the real King Arthur was a myth or real. Turns out their is evidence for a British ruler that may have been the man behind the myth. Quite interesting.

Arthur was real, just all the events surrounding him were exaggerated

Whether King Arthur and Merlin existed or not is open to question but if so, their histories have been greatly mythologized. I’d like to think they existed as real people but I’m not convinced. All the supernatural stuff is myth IMO.

archeologists in Scotland revealed evidence of the legendary wizard’s death in Drumelzier LOL. I bet these "archeologists" got a nice fat envelope filled with cash from the Drumelzier tourist bureau to "discover" Merlin's grave in Drumelzier.

Arthur (or at least what we think of as Arthur) wasn’t real, so, why should Merlin be real?

It’s in the NYPost, it has to be true.

What is the difference between a Protestant atheist and a Catholic atheist.
A Protestant atheist believes there is no God.
A Catholic atheist believes there is no God AND believes that Mary is His mother.

If Merlin really lived in the 6th or 7th century A.D., he couldn't have built Stonehenge after all.
Whether or not there was a King Arthur, the US has had a President Arthur.
