Like Jesus some believe, some do not, and still others believe that they were representations of others & embellished as you suggested. There is no definitive proof.

Just for the record, I believe in Jesus without question. King Arthur, just not sure.

Not saying you are wrong, just saying that proof is lacking to definitively be confirmed. Either that or I have just not been introduced to that proof in either direction. 🙂👍
