"Was Hitler a Christian?"
The Renaissance of Men ^ | 09/06/24 | Will Spencer

Posted on 09/07/2024 5:16:23 AM PDT by Olympiad Fisherman

Will Spencer of the "Renaissance of Men" interviews Dr. R. Mark Musser on his book entitled, "Nazi Ecology: The Oak Sacrifice of the Judeo-Christian Worldview in the Holocaust" which demonstrates the essential pagan worldview of National Socialism and how its racist Social Darwinism was co-mingled with ecology since it cannot be separated from biology that played no small role in the Shoah.

Jesus converted them.

It's you who is wasting everyone's time with your ignorance of the Bible on this question.

daniel1212 knows so much but I frequently wish he would focus on short, easily digestible points that actually get read and have an effect on a thread.

An interesting read, “The Psycho-Pathic God Adolf Hitler”, by Robert G. L. Waite, includes many snippets from the Nazi party that were attempts to co-opt Christian doctrines and ideas and rewrite them to praise Hitler and Nazism.

For example, “The Lord’s Prayer” changed into “Hitler’s Prayer”. It is as crude and gross as it sounds.

No where in Christianity is there a directive to convert people. No where?

The Scripture is full of it. Go and make disciples. Where have you been?

Similar story in my family.

One grandfather was a WW1 and 2 vet and a Nazi who worked for the mayor of Stuttgart.

The other was Lithuanian who married a German woman who had lived all over Europe growing up and was drafted into the army and never returned from the Soviet Union and presumed dead.

My grandmother had a child with another guy and surprisingly got a letter in the mid 50s from her husband who was a POW and remained there after the war and remarried.

She tried to go see him but the family stopped her and I don’t know if she would have even be allowed to go.

The only other communication was a letter from the local government saying he had died along with a picture of him in his casket.

As far as religion of Hitler, it really doesn’t matter. He did use Christian imagery and themes to motivate though and it obviously worked.

In the aftermath of WWI, many prominent bankers, factory owners, and other wealthy people made the AM Radio cocktail party circuit. In England, France and the US these former German economic leaders told stories of how they aided the Allies in defeating Germany. Many wrote articles or spoke on Radio about how their heroic acts of Espionage helped to give the Allied intelligence all the information they needed on wartime production figures. They provided nearly realtime numbers on banking, food, vehicle, weapons, ammunition, clothing, etc. Many of these proud Germans who aided the Allies were Jewish. This was the single strategic planning factor in removing a fifth column from their population in WWII.

A side note of WWI was the fact that DOW provided nearly all the gunpowder and explosives to both sides until early 1917. During the VN war there used to be DOW commercials talking of their humanity and aid to US forces while helo’s dropped water in long burst proof bags to troops on the ground.

Can you imagine being a German in defeated Germany in the 1920’s and former bankers, factory owners, and others with vital intelligence on economic and financial matters passed it to French, British and Americas - and reading about who they once were. They were formerly respected and trusted members of German society. The dinner party/cocktail circuit and MSM of the day rubbed stories “revealed” in the press.

Hitler himself cited this factor in records of discussions by the NAZI German government. In order to mitigate leaks and traitors, the Germans refused to allow loyal German Jews to serve in the military. Instead they were rounded up much the same as the Japanese in the USA. In fact everyone was rounding up people they felt they could not trust. Yet at the same time, many Germans from the USA served in the American and German military.

Much of the misery of WWII for Jews in WWII stemmed from the arrogance of a few loud mouthed “kiss and tell” Jews who betrayed Germany in WWI.

Lumping the Jews in concentration camps together with the Gyspies, and other undersirables, had less to do with religion than it had to do with a class of people close-knit by traditions and values, and whose wealth and position in Germany. That wealth is always controlled by the government in wartime. Seizing the wealth of a known traitor class was the reason. For the NAZIs it was two-fold, one was the betrayal and for a few it was revenge.

The German’s were scientific and before WWII they were explorers all over the planet seeking secrets of the past in places like South America, Egypt, or any place where legand and mysteries abound. That quest led to UFO, Viking, Jewish and other mysterious objects of power, and the military was keen on finding any advantage or power.

Hitler and NAZI’s in 1942 were winning the war; ten days after the meeting that lasted nearly a week was decided, that decision to eliminate mouths to feed, e.g., the Jews along with the underisable’s, it seems God’s hand was moving in favor of the Allies in every battle - battles that the German’s should have easily won. From the moment Germany decided to destroy people, their own victoriously powerful military was defeated in Africa, and at Sea.

God chose to change the course of German victory in WWII for their transgressions against humanity.

Some say the sins of the forefathers, the grandfathers or fathers are visited upon the sons’. The Jew’s suffered for the actions of a few over 20 years or a generation before.

You been not waste any time reading and please don’t waste your time responding

I’m wasting no one’s time. That’s a nasty accusation.

I stated a fact and am getting flamed. Leave me alone with your accusatory pretend conversion questions

People say that things are in the Bible

You have not a clue the extent of my knowledge of the Bible.

Here’s something I do know:

Not one of you flamethrowers have been able to quote the verse where it states that Christians are to convert people

None exists

What the Hitler government envisioned for Germany was clearly set out in a
thirty-point program for the ”National Reich Church” drawn up during the war
by Rosenberg, an outspoken pagan, who among his other offices held that of
”the Fuehrer’s Delegate for the Entire Intellectual and Philosophical Education
and Instruction for the National Socialist Party.” A few of its thirty articles
convey the essentials:

1. The National Reich Church of Germany categorically claims the
exclusive right and the exclusive power to control all churches
within the borders of the Reich: it declares these to be national
churches of the German Reich.
5. The National Church is determined to exterminate irrevoca-
bly . . . the strange and foreign Christian faiths imported into
Germany in the ill-omened year 800.
7. The National Church has no scribes, pastors, chaplains or
priests, but National Reich orators are to speak in them.
13. The National church demands immediate cessation of the pub-
lishing and dissemination of the Bible in Germany . . .
14. The National Church declares that to it, and therefore to the
German nation, it has been decided that the Fuehrer’s Mein
Kampf is the greatest of all documents. It . . . not only contains
the greatest but it embodies the purest and truest ethics for the
present and future life of our nation.
18. The National Church will clear away from its altars all cruci-
fixes, Bibles and pictures of saints.
19. On the altars there must be nothing but Mein Kampf (to the
German nation and therefore to God the most sacred book)
and to the left of the altar a sword.
30. On the day of its foundation, the Christian Cross must be re-
moved from all churches, cathedrals and chapels . . . and it
must be superseded by the only unconquerable symbol, the
swastika.

This is not unlike what happened in Poland, where many Poles accused the Jews of supporting the Soviets when they occupied their half of Poland in 1939.

The thing is, Stalin hated Jews every bit as much as Hitler.

bro....The Great Commission was quoted to you from Matthew. It's Jesus giving the disciples instructions on this issue.

I gave you the example of Paul being converted.

It seems like you're just wanting to argue just to argue.

It's been clearly shown to you.

So yes...we will question your knowledge, or lack thereof, of the Bible when you reject what has been clearly shown to you.

Do you think anyone is going to read those posts to see if you are trying to make a point or not, and what that point might be?

What that point might be? You mean the documented (or does that not matter any more?) to the OP article's question: "Was Hitler a Christian?" question

Here are a few:
Matthew 28:19-20 (The Great Commission):

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

This is one of the most direct commands from Jesus to His disciples to spread the Gospel to all nations.

Mark 16:15-16

"And he said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'"

"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

These passages reiterate the global mission of sharing the message of salvation.

Acts 1:8

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Before His ascension, Jesus instructs His followers to be His witnesses starting locally and extending outward to the ends of the earth.

2 Timothy 4:2

"Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching."

Paul encourages Timothy to continually spread the Word, emphasizing readiness and persistence.

Romans 10:14-15

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"

Paul highlights the importance of preaching to enable others to hear and believe the Gospel.

“ bro....The Great Commission was quoted to you from Matthew. It’s Jesus giving the disciples instructions on this issue.”
‘Bro’ it does not say ‘convert people’. If it did there would be instructions and they would be very different from the nasty manner you’re treating me if, as you say, you as a Christian are to convert people’. Is that everyone? Is that me? Because the nastiness doesn’t work

How are people to know who needs converting? Where in the Bible are these exact instructions. No where

Drop it. It doesn’t exist

“I thought the Christians were supposed to go out into the world and preach the Good News to the unbelievers. I think it is called evangelism.”

True. No where is there FORCED conversion, as St Paul said, “God gave the increase.”
1 Corinthians 1:
6I have planted, Apollos watered; but GOD gave the increase. 7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but GOD that giveth the increase.

Hitler and NAZI’s in 1942 were winning the war;....

I'd argue, as would other historians, that Germany was losing the war in 1942 depending on when in 1942 you're talking about.

They'd lost the chance to invade England when they let the BEF escape from Dunkirk.

They'd lost the Battle of Britain.

They had been stopped from taking Moscow in December 1941. Reading accounts of German generals they knew they'd made a huge mistake in invading Russia.

In 1942 they lost at El Alamein, Stalingrad and in North Africa.

daniel1212 knows so much but I frequently wish he would focus on short, easily digestible points that actually get read and have an effect on a thread.

I hear you, and have tried simply posting links to material that refutes RCs and certain cultic and or ignorant polemics, only to see them ignored and the same assertions made. Some even admit they will not read such which counters them, thereby leaving some others to think that they have not being refuted.

So I post documentation, and which today is too often treated as superfluous. But I do not use a smartphone for forums (or much of any Internet use) which use as a substitute for research is part of the problem today.

Next, let's see the documentation to a posters who asserts, "No where in Christianity is there a directive to convert people. No where." When i get back (doorbell ringing).
