Casey Kasem, izzat you?................
It’s a great song. Mark Knopfler has a very unique style, both in picking and strumming. He’s got a lot of great songs a few of which became top hits but some deep cuts from Dire Straits albums are also great listens. They may seem a little underrated here in the USA despite the popularity of maybe 2 hit songs that got a lot of airplay, but in the UK they could sell out Wembley stadium back in the day.
However, don't forget to convert them music files to mp3. It will allow you to decouple your huge investment in Itunes music from Apple and Apple only products such as Iphones.
We have done this and it has opened our ability to play our entire library in our car and on a simple thumb drive.
I do appreciate that Apple enabled this feature. It is in the menu, just look for it. Thank you Apple.
I am a huge Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler fan. If I had a list this would be on it, plus many more like “Brothers in Arms”. I never saw them in concert which I regret.
Really enjoying these threads. The dire straits just never did it for me.
Please leave me of this ping list. Thanks
