Google Admits to Changing Search Results for 'Trump Assassination' Searches and Much More
Western Journal ^

Well, this is indeed a shocker: Google admitted this past week that they were indeed censoring searches on GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and the assassination attempt against him. But it was just an outdated algorithm, honest!

In the latest improbable claim of semi-innocence in the field of election manipulation by a big tech corporation, counsel for Google parent company Alphabet told the House Judiciary Committee that its autocomplete algorithm wouldn’t allow people to search for results about the Trump assassination attempt at a Butler, Pennsylvania, rally on July 13 due to a prohibition against searches for political violence-related topics, National Review reported.

Maybe Google should return its focus back to what enabled it to rise above other search engines, rather than validating Left wing fever dreams.

I wouldn't hold my breath.

Google dropping “Don’t be evil” as their motto is all you need to know. Their new unspoken tagline is “WE ARE EVIL.”

Google is actively working to promote democrat and leftist ideas. It deliberately and intentionally changes search strings and results.

I first noticed it with “Bruce Jenner.” It changes your request to “Caitlyn Jenner.” “Blacks killing cops” becomes “cops killing Blacks.”

This is not accidental.

They already disgraced every Founding Father they could with “Hamilton” I guess now the piggies have their sights on George Washington. When are the Founding Fathers descendants going to get their “reparations”.

Buying up all the competition and pay Hollywood to use their name like a verb so to drive the herd to use it?

“Funny how all of those mistakes only happen one direction.”

I used to say exactly that every time the cable company ‘accidentally’ overcharged me and, once again, I had to call and get them to fix it.’’

Never ONCE did they accidentally undercharge or not charge me for something I actually owed.

I guess Google learned from the most evil how on to do it.

a prohibition against searches for political violence-related topics

Funny how all of those mistakes only happen one direction.

Not only, but if "prohibition against searches for political violence-related topics" is secretly censored, then so may results for ideological issues. Using my standard barometer (since evidence is overwhelming), a Google search for Negative effects of homosexual relations (w/out quotes) will not show a web page with that very title, and abundant CDC stats on how the practice pf sodomy has   (historically)   resulted in a greatly increased incidence of other infectious diseases  and effects besides HIV,  from Meningitis to  premature death. . Instead, the "negative effects" cited in snippets for top results are mainly issues designed to elicit sympathy, such as 1. (numbers are added by men in the order of top results with snippets) increased risk of depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety 2. "increased risk for suicidal behavior and ideation, major depression," 3. "poor psychological health and increased risk of suicide attempts," 4. "Gay men smoke and use tobacco products at much higher rates than others," 5. "higher rates of body dysmorphia and eating disorders," "suicidal thoughts and high risk activities,"

Then comes,6. "Participating in homosexual activity could be viewed as dangerous to society and incompatible with full health," 7. "There are no negative effects associated with gay marriage that aren't also associated with any other configurations you could imagine."

Finally, without details, 8. "Homosexual activity can also lead to other diseases. Homosexual activity is also dangerous spiritually. God designed sex to be used in the context of marriage,"

Which results then finds a statement countering the last one, that 9. "While some believe that homosexual activity is unnatural, scientific research shows that homosexuality is a normal and natural variation in human sexuality."

Next, Google even resorts to the obligatory, 10. "Same-sex couples more vulnerable to the negative effects of climate change."

And in all 50 top results there is zero mention of HIV/AIDs (despite the stats) and only one reference to sexually transmitted infection, while providing apologetics for the lifestyle.

Of course, Goggle opposes God

who made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with.

And homosexual relations have been tragically primarily responsible for approx. 80% of new HIV cases among men and over 700,000 American deaths, though such is not even the decisive reason why homosexual relations are wrong.

Yet there is still room at the cross for all who will come to God in repentance and faith, and trust in the Divine Son of God sent by the Father, the risen Lord Jesus, to save them on His account, by His sinless shed blood, and thus be baptized and live for Him. Acts 10:36-47

I did searches for “top ten lies about Trump”, “top hoaxes against Trump”, “Democrat lies about Trump”, etc. and just about the only results I get back are those that accuse Trump of lying and spreading hoaxes! All the lies spread against Trump going back to 2015 to now by the MSM and Democrats are memory holed.

Using Startpage Search Engine
https://www.startpage.com

Advanced Search example

Search criteria: “lies about Trump”

Searching after: July 1, 2024

Excluding: 989theanswer.com, cnet.com, cnn.com, democrats.org, etsy.com, go.com, google.com, huffingtonpost.com, huffpost.com, independent.co.uk, mediaite.com, mediamatters.org, merriam-webster.com, nytimes.com, reddit.com, snopes.com, usatoday.com, www.businessinsider.com

- - -

In the Startpage search field (NOT in the URL address field), enter:

“lies about Trump” after:2024-07-01 -site:989theanswer.com -site:cnet.com -site:cnn.com -site:democrats.org -site:etsy.com -site:go.com -site:google.com -site:huffingtonpost.com -site:huffpost.com -site:independent.co.uk -site:mediaite.com -site:mediamatters.org -site:merriam-webster.com -site:nytimes.com -site:reddit.com -site:snopes.com -site:usatoday.com -site:www.businessinsider.com

The exclusions reduce a lot of search results clutter. There may be a limit of 20 exclusions - not sure.
