Headline doesn’t match video. Looked playful and that gesture is apparently very normal in Turkish society. Lots of real issues w/Erdogan this is not one.
I think the bit about the forces may have been a joke. I can’t tell anymore. But Musk is on for the fight.

What a huge mistake that was. Obviously it should be reversed.
I had a muslim from Turkey who was my manager for about three years. Things didn’t work out. About every two weeks I would stop at a local burger joint for lunch and get a pork tenderloin sandwich. I would always ask him if he wanted me to get him one, my treat. He never took me up on the offer. I guess a bacon cheeseburger was more his style. True story.
