It’s interesting that seemingly no voters support ths. Not even ridiculously liberal women who are school teachers seem to be strongly in favor of this. The Republicans should have Harris either embracing this unpopular thing or distancing herself from Warren. They don’t appear to really be pursuing it.
Why? These people, most of whom have no feeling of allegiance to the United States, would not bring much if anything to the table as far as skills or education, and would form a permanent underclass, cutting into the African American and Hispanic American demographics, not necessarily to drive them upward, but to compound the poverty already plaguing these communities.
The “native-grown” leftists of the “liberal-progressive” persuasion themselves have no allegiance to the United States of America. Cloward-Piven on steroids. Overload the system, and Socialism is the only answer they have?

I’m a pragmatist, you have to be to survive out here in rural Kansas. So the question I must ask you senator is what do I gain from this course of action? What does my family, my neighbors, the guy in Moline, IL who’s been building tractors for the last 25 years for Deere & Co. who finds out his job is going to Mexico? I just don’t recognize any benefit to the American people who go to work every day and pay their federal income taxes, which I might add, pay your salary. Maybe you can enlighten me.
