Need recommendations for a search engine. Got lazy and have been using Duck Duck Go, which seems to be Google in disguise.
Today have been trying to find a discussion of the video from the Trump shooting that seemed to show a muzzle blast or explosion of some sort in the crowd behind Trump. I heard on the radio that it may have been an agricultural chemical under pressure that was released.
On DuckDuckGo, I get page after page of pablum from CNN, NPR, PBS, Newsweak, Reuters, and other party organs that have nothing to do with my request.
Can someone suggest one or more less biased search engines? Any help would be appreciated.
Best (includes FR and some other forums: https://searchtheright.com/?q=homosexuality%20and%20the%20bible&category_conservative
Fairly good: https://www.ecosia.org/search?method=index&q=homosexuality%20and%20the%20bible
Also: https://luxxle.com/luxsearch?q=homosexuality%20and%20the%20bible&lens=wide
Likewise: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=h_&q=homosexuality+and+the+bible&ia=web
Similar: https://www.bing.com/search?form=MOZSBR&pc=MOZI&q=homosexuality+and+the+bible
Bad: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=homosexuality+and+the+bible
Here’s more of the link. Actually has a short video too.

Bad: Google clone in my basic test: https://freespoke.com/search/web?q=homosexuality+and+the+bible
If you want a search engine that is not owned by/part of the blob....ie Google, DDG, Bing, etc
Try Yandex.
Try any subject that is remotely political. Look it up on Google. Look it up on Yandex. Prepare to be absolutely blown away by the difference when Big Tech doesn’t have its thumb on the scale.
Wow! Thanks, everyone. Amazing results! Never underestimate Freepers’ ability and willingness to help.
I was going to recommend the brave search engine. The brave founder was sacked by Firefox for making donations in support of traditional marriage initiatives (he was anti gay marriage). However, I just asked brave’s AI search engine “was Kamala Harris responsible for the border” and it gives the same woke, history revised answer as google denying her responsibilities and merely parroting the dem talking points.
Google works for non political things. For anything political I use the Russian search engine Yandex. Their agenda is nearly the opposite of the Deep State.
Start page. Been using it for years
Thanks, I’ll now delete freespoke.
That's because all newer search engines need to use a big data source. They merely tweak results from google and to a lesser degree, bing who have both had bots scouring web pages for well over a decade.
If someone were smart, they would set up bots to start with recent times and work their way back. It wouldn't take to long to get back to the time when google wasn't so slanted. 10-12 years maybe.
Better than Google, and similar to Bing in my basic test.
Note that my quick judgment on https://searchtheright.com/ does not apply to when you search as Web - in which is a Google clone - versus Conservative.
Will give Yandex a try - although Bing works OK for me.
I haven’t tried it but keep seeing ads on line fore resulthunter.com. says it’s for conservatives, Ince big tech is limiting conservative voices on the web.

Thanks. I missed that!
If you are just looking up "how to fix a sash", then any of them will do.
ok thanks
