Former President Donald Trump missed 12 putts while playing a round of golf alongside Bryson DeChambeau.
The 2024 Republican nominee for president appeared on the professional golfer's popular "Break 50" series, where they raised money for charity.
Trump, 78, and DeChambeau, 30, played a two-person scramble, a common golf game in which "each player plays from the teeing area on each hole, one of the tee shots is selected and all the players play their second shots from within one club length of that location, no closer to the hole, and in the same height of grass in the general area. Play continues in this manner until the ball is holed," according to Golf Genius.
Despite Trump's misses, the pair played well together and finished 22 under par.
After Trump sunk the last shot, DeChambeau threw his arms in the air in excitement. "Let's go!" he said, "That's how we do it. That's how you finish off the round. We shot 22 under, oh my gosh."
The clip was posted to YouTube on July 23 and has amassed more than four million views and counting at the time of publication.

I wasn’t much of a fan of DeChambeau. I am now. Looking to be the most American professional golfer and how he’s not on the US Olympic Team is criminal.
Watched it accidentally with my 34 year old son absolutely loved it. DJT had drives that were closer to the pin than Bryson. And having two and three putts isn’t unusual - including for the pros. DJT was absolutely impressive for a 78 year old for sure. And, this was for charity, for heaven’s sake.
On a side note, watched a couple of his granddaughter golfing videos and she is equally impressive.
I think Megan, as well as the rest of the liberal hacks, should do a little homework before spewing their ignorance. Might make themselves sound a little less ignorant or stupid.

Because I’m terrible, and I miss putts all the time — even when I’m like two inches from the cup...

Too many times people are led to think that amatuer gofers, most who play on the weekends, can be competitive with pros that hit a few hundred ball every week and spend hours on the pratice greens. The latter because the putter is the most used club in the game and requires repetitious muscle memory.
For those that don’t know the game there are no holes in the game, unlike puttputt golf, that figure out one putting as the norm. It is all two putting at least. What you don’t want is three putting. But sometimes a little luck can be involved with capacity.

This is so ridiculous. Trump played golf very well and came across great in the video. The fake news media just can’t help themselves. They have to frame everything in a negative way regardless of reality.
Or...said another way...President Trump had both a solo birdie AND a solo eagle, while playing best ball with one of the top golfers in the entire world...
