History and Islamic law provide the framework for an analysis of why Muslims hate the Jews and Israel.
During WWII, film director Frank Capra produced seven films under the theme of Why We Fight. In these films, Capra explained the war to American service-people and civilians, and urged them to unite in the complex and labor-intensive task of defeating the Axis Powers and defending American values.
Today Americans need to understand why Hamas fights. Without understanding that their goals are completely antithetical to Western civilization, we cannot fathom either the depths of barbaric depravity Hamas inflicts on the Jewish People and Israel, or make an informed policy decision about the war that began with the Hamas onslaught on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
Gazans hold a deep-seated and millennial-long hatred of Jews and Israel. To determine whether it may be possible to “de-program” people with this pathological hatred, as we de-programed Naziism in Germany and militarism in Japan, we must explore the causes of such hatred and determine whether it could even be amenable to change, or whether it cannot be solved at this time, and instead must be beaten back and defeated soundly now, and held down militarily for the foreseeable future; I conclude the latter.
From its inception in 1987, Hamas has been an existential threat to the State of Israel, to all Israeli citizens (Arab and non-Arab Christians, Druze, Muslims, Jews, Baha’i, and others), to all Jewish people and all Christians worldwide. This hatred is manifest in its Charter and in threats by Hamas to annihilate all Jews, which Hamas has openly renewed since Oct. 7, 2023.
Hatred of Jews prevails among the Gaza civilian population. Gaza civilians are noncombatants under international law, entitled to certain protections during war, which the IDF assiduously provides.

Say what? Its their religion (sic). They are commanded to kill Jews and all others who are not them. The analysis is flawed badly, right from the cited premise.
They? Examine each individual. Are they a member of a larger collective...an anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-individual, anti-life collective? Why?
After the first war, Muslims intensified their campaign against Christians. My grandparents were ‘oppressed’ and finally thrown out of their OWN country. What do I mean by ‘oppressed’? ‘Your children can go to school, but only if they learn Turkish and become Muslim along with the whole family. Otherwise you leave ... and also leave everything behind.'
They refused to go to Turkish school so many arrived in the US, illiterate.. They were force marched to ports and put on boats.
The Armenians were also ‘oppressed’ but differently. They were bankers, attorneys, professors, etc. and had wealth and property, so they were murdered outright.
This Muslim hatred goes WAY back!

In all fairness that was the tender offered the Vikings by King Olaf and St. Vlad to the Kievan and Russ.....just two examples...
There was a lot of “convert or die” ultimatums made to pagans...Teuton Knights, Conquistadors, etc....and even within sects of Christianity.....Wars of Religion....France’s genocide of the Protestant Huguenots, Habsburgs vs the Bohemians, then the Dutch, etc.....
Just scream heresy and stoke the bonfires while raping the women and enslaving the kids....Munster anyone?
Wars on Pagans are a good thing. Salvation is an individual choice....but banning Pagan practices is Biblical NT and OT.
It is analogous to driving the Canaanites from the Promised Land and thereby fulfill the Great Commission.
But, the internecine wars of Catholics and Protestants killing each other was non-productive and definitely not Christlike.

They also hate Christians and Islam demands believers to conquer the world and establish a worldwide Caliphate under Sharia Law and all unbelievers will be give the chance to join, become slaves or just killed.

It goes all the way back to jealously between Sarah and Hagar, and their their sons Isaac and Ishmael. It’s Abraham’s conflict between God’s way and man’s way.
Jealousy and ego. Here is a group of people they have been to GPU get to hate for a thousand year, that were nearly wiped out in Europe, who get a scrap of worthless land, YET turned it in to a peaceful and prosperous oasis. Meanwhile the muslim tribes live in poverty, sand, famine, and misery while watching the “dogs and pigs” (as Mad Mo called them) turn their land in to a garden.
