President Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19, the White House said. The president, who was delivering speeches in Las Vegas, "is experiencing mild symptoms," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement. Biden "will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time," she said.

A few days ago President Trump asked for another debate before the final on Sept 10. Biden refused. I expect most Biden speeches at the DNC to be prerecorded. They’ve probably started taping them now.
No doubt the candidate has already been picked, but they still have to go through the motions of an open convention.
Meanwhile the real story will be outside in the streets of Chicago. Dare I say the world will be watching?

This may end up being unfortunate. The enthusiasm level for the DEMs is in the crapper (sans voter fraud). But if they can rid themselves of Biden, virtually anyone would be better than him. Kamala is dumb as a rock, but she’s a woman of color and a lot younger than Biden. Trump would still wipe the floor in an honest debate and election, but nothing is honest in American politics anymore, especially at the state and nation levels.
What a waste of time. They blocked off the major streets around my house and it took me FOREVER to run an errand that should have taken 15 minutes.

I saw the video. joe was having trouble shuffling across the tarmac. Covid is not the case. He is mentally and physically failing. But his handlers won’t give up. They are too addicted to the power of the presidency. So is his babysitter, DR. JILL.
Joe has covid, He asked the doc does that mean he can get a band aid for his ear for his next speech so he can get some assassination street cred. The doc told him no. He has to earn it the hard way and stand in front of a roof while secret service “protects” him.
