Has anyone heard that ABC is signing Tucker Carlson to replace Jimmy Kimmell?
Tony Snow was a great man. Rush talked him up a lot. Allan Cohomes used to piss me off regularly but the man was intelligent and steadfast in his beliefs. I smiled every time I voted knowing I was nuetrilizing his vote. I miss when we all could voice opinions without having to have a CCW permit.
Yeah, I think of Tony Snow as a warrior from a time before things got insane. We thought it was dark when Hillary said the deplorables deal, and that was just the tip of things to come.
I’m buying a MAGA hat next mouth, I’m just over all this nonsense (and I don’t even like Baseball caps). But I’m not in a swing state or a crazy left wing state, really my town is pretty sleepy little town, but all the same, I think that MAGA hat is something so many on the left hate, I will get one.

Why would it make anyone mad? Tucker was with Trump at the fights not long ago. Along with Kid Rock and Dana White.

His whole act is Trump bashing.
$400 million would be a lot of persuasion.
Press conferences would be hilarious if he were press sec. Of course, that position would be well beneath his pay grade.
Trump will need a trusted, respectable Press Secretary, after years of the clown show running that position. Tucker would rock solid.
Also note, Tucker Carlson was seated in the front row and was one of the first to shake DJT’s hand at the convention.

And a huge downgrade for Tucker. Maybe it’s just me, but those late night shows always have seemed like low-rent drivel to me. Even Carson.
Makes no sense. He’s not well suited to late night. Why would he give up what he’s already got?

He could be Press Secretary, take no pay for it, and continue to do what he’s doing now. He’d answer to Director Of Communications, whomever that would be
The last entertaining person doing a late night show was Craig Ferguson, who followed Leno’s path of diplomatically burning everyone.
But I believe he got tired of the grind and just picks and chooses stand-up gigs now. Shame.
Roseanne Barr has evolved to a whole other level so I’d like to see her getting another shot.

I was a long time subscriber, and listed to his podcast, first the audio when it started (before most people even heard of a podcast) and then the video telecast when that became available for subscribers.
Every single day for 20+ years.
When I was stationed in Europe during the 90s I was one of those who fought to get him on Armed Forces Radio. They finally relented in 1996, but they’d only broadcast the first live hour, and that was around 5-6:00 PM in Germany, but I listed to each show.
When Rush died, I could not find a replacement like him. I went cold turkey on radio. I listen to Gutfeld every morning (YouTube posts the show from the night before) but it is a huge gap from the days of the Golden Microphone at EIB.

A lava lamp could replace Jimmy Kimmell it would be an improvement.
