"I'm sure there will be a lot of people watching this video who do not know me, who are new to this Channel and are just checking in based on recent occurrences. So, for those who are new, for those who do not know me, my name is Matt Carriker. I am a Texas-based YouTuber and this is my YouTube channel. Demolition Ranch is a firearm centered Channel. I also have OffTheRanch which is a blog type channel, and then I am also a veterinarian and so I have VetRanch which is a Veterinary centered Channel. And across the board, across all my videos we really don't talk about politics at all. We keep politics out of it. For one, it's not my bread and butter but also I don't feel the need to impose my political views and beliefs on other people and so we generally just stay away from the topic of politics.
However, we were obviously kind of thrust into the conversation after last weekend, so before I go any further, to the family of the victim who died during the Trump shooting, uh, man I'm so sorry for your loss. It's terrible and I hate that that happened to him and to you guys. Wishing you guys the best from here. It's... that's the worst. For those who were injured in the shooting as well, wishing you guys a speedy recovery, praying for pain-free recovery for you as well, both physically and mentally. I can't imagine.
So, as a lot of you guys know, we were shocked and confused to find this out: the shooter who tried to assassinate Trump was wearing merch from my channel; wearing a Demolition Ranch t-shirt. And that sucked to see."

Matt is a solid guy, been watching his Demo Ranch and Off the Ranch YouTube channels for many years. (Not much into his Vet Ranch channel, though...)
He’s a decent guy, doesn’t deserve the hate being flung his way.
As others have pointed out elsewhere, nobody is going after Nike or Adidas for gang violence, or car manufacturers for people doing bad things while using their products.
Poor Matt. Been watching him since the experimental shotgun shell days.
I knew he’d get pulled into this mess when that PIECE OF SHIT wore one of his shirts.
I love watching Demo Matt.
How else you going to find out what a battery does when shot out of a shotgun.
Been a subscriber for a while now. Good content.
You see the one where he set up a range in his house when Meredith was gone?
Heh... no wonder mine don’t leave me home alone.
Its not his fault. Who knows what a nut job will do?
Or a spark plug. Or popcorn kernels. Or nails
That was a good one
I tried the water balloon suppressor. Didn’t work for me and made a mess!
Don’t recall that one. I love his suppressor content though. The one where he attached hundreds of baffles surprised me quite a bit. I was expecting baffle strikes long before they began occurring.
GarandThumb had one ridiculously long. Hundreds of feet as I recall. Men walking up and down the length of the suppressor, and I mean quite a distance
Ha! I saw that one, we were just talking about that yesterday.
Yeah, we like GT here at the Sarcazmo household too.
Now GT is a REALLY educational channel. Used to be more theatrical with skits and such but now it’s urban/wilderness escape and evade and other skills.
Hope he’s on my side in a fight
Merchant items sold on a site cannot control what kind of person pays 29.95 for a T-Shirt. They cannot. Think what would have happened if this clown had an NRA shirt. Or Sig-Sauer or Glock or heaven forbid, Bushmaster or Colt.
These are tools, and this perp used his in an EVIL way- him being a “hunter” and all. The answer in this, imo, may be found in the father-son relationship and if there was any. After all like Sandy Hook, the punk kid stole the rifle (from the mother whom he killed)— so what about the dad. We may never know.
Taofledermaus does a pretty good job showing that too. :-)

I think he can get another shirt, geez.
Me too. From what I’ve seen over the years he’s a good man. Matt, his brand, and his businesses don’t need this bullshit.
Exactly.
Yet people are online elsewhere basically demanding he somehow vet his customers.
It’s insane.
People forget that you can find all sorts of t-shirts at a Goodwill store or thrift shop. I’ve also seen security guard uniforms and police uniform items sold at those places, FWIW. The clown who shot Mr. Trump may not even have purchased it from Demolition Ranch, and if he did, so what? It doesn’t suggest anything regarding the seller, whether it was new or used...
