Which happened?
A)The police sharpshooter raises his head suddenly, lowers his head and fires one shot, the rifle recoils, then no visual of who is shooting but audio: 2 shots, then a cluster of shots. I think assassin fired 2 shots, cops killed him.
Or
B) The police sharpshooter raises his head, then ducks at the sound of the assassin's shot, jerking his rifle barrel upward as he ducks. Assassin shoots twice more, police kill him.

Why did the officers on the ground not alert the SS so the SS could shield Trump? Had the officers no comms with the SS? According to the eyewitnesses the police were notified there was a man with a rifle, a couple of minutes before the shots.
What were the snipers rules of engagement? Did they have permission to open fire on a person on the roof with a rifle? Why was the roof not secured?
And this kid wasn’t dressed in tactical gear or anything to hint that he was law enforcement or associated with anything legitimate. I can’t wrap my head around this, and I honestly don’t believe we’ll get the truth.

Looked like a flinch to me. Takes a bunch (like a LOT) of recoil to knock back the tripod like that. I’m talking PTRS or Tankgewehr type, collar bone-breaking recoil. Dude was watching the guy take his shots at Trump and was like “holy shit!” and rocked back the whole rig with a flinch. His finger had to have been off the trigger too, since a flinch like that would have discharged a chambered round
Tripod mounted rifle. Any downward motion of the stock will raise the muzzle.
I do not trust any DOJ analysis of what happened. We need Liz Cheney to form an independent commission.

An amazing photo to be sure. Who knows if that was the first, second or third initial shot? Seemed like Trump grabbed his ear at the first sound of fire.
Could have been the bullet that killed the supporter. Also looks low to have gone through Trump’s right ear. If the camera had a decent clock with timestamp, should be easy to determine which shot it was.
My take is that PDJT heard something - the first shot maybe or someone in the crowd yelling and turned his head.
Had he not done that he’d have been hit in the temple or the back of the head.
There are several people in the stands behind him who turned their heads towards the shooter just before he was hit.
I haven’t looked at it again but it looked like B was what happened. I don’t remember seeing any discharge from the SS agent’s rifle during that first move. Seems like his head was up at that instant rather than sighting down the barrel. Looked like involuntary reaction to hearing a shot.
The “shooter” seemed quite obvious about his intentions.

I’ve been to Trump rallies and snipers are everywhere, including in the hills surrounding.
Security is actually visible for miles before you even get to a rally venue.
I felt safe, as well, unconcerned for The President’s safety
Moreover, there was a helicopter circling the event
So… a guy just decides to show up at a rally and take a potshot at PDJT… and he looks around for a spot that wasn’t covered by USSS and… well whadaya know! He’s in luck. A handy barn roof with no-one on it. And his rifle happens to be sighted in for the distance to the stage.
Now, let’s just see if he can get up there with a rifle without being spotted. Well whaddaya know! Another lucky break! Wait… he was spotted and pointed out to security, Well whaddaya know! Three times lucky! Security blew it off.
Oops. His luck ran out. He was shot deader’n a doornail. Tsk, tsk. Too bad. Can’t question him now.

Yet, the cops and the Secret Service couldn’t see him nor determine his intentions. It’s like they all went collectively blind until after the shots were taken.

I am unconvinced that the sniper on the left looked up and then slammed his head down on the stock and acquired a shot that fast. Either that gun barrel kicked up from his head slamming down on it, or maybe it was recoil from a shot. Either way it doesn’t appear he has good control of the firearm at that point.
What the video shows me is that the sniper was scanning and saw the shooter in his scope which caused him to raise his head and confirm with his eyes what he was seeing (a natural reaction even though at that distance it is doubtful it would have confirmed with his naked eyes). The sniper then went back to the scope, but I do not think he fired because a shot rang out before he could have reaquired the shooter. That shot (from the shooter) startled the sniper causing him to jerk his rifle back. It is possible that the second sniper in the more prone position is the one who fired back at the shooter after the shooter had pumped out five shots.
What pass did he show security. Ahead of Time?
