The “too old” canard is a dodge. This has nothing to do with an age number. This is about cognitive decline, which hits different people at different ages. Some experience it earlier, some later in life. Some never experience it.

Interestingly, MD is at the same age, just before 80, when his father Kirk's mind blew a gasket (he had a major stroke) and then he started telling everyone exactly what was on his mind for the next 20 years, including dissatisfaction with Democrats. Unlike Biden, at least Spartacuss was capable of speech until he got to be about 100; but maybe MD will just stroke out in a fit of karma.
