Democrats looking to jettison President Joe Biden from the 2024 ticket are going to need to do so very quickly because time is running short, argued NBC News Chief Political Analyst Chuck Todd.
On Friday, the former “Meet the Press” host joined Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC, the day after Biden’s “big boy” presser at the NATO 75th anniversary celebration, a high-stakes event for the 81-year-old who is fighting for his political survival.
“If they’re going to make a move against Biden though, they’ve got to do it this weekend,” Todd said, urging the mutineers to make their move in the next 48 hours.

If Biden quits the race this weekend (which won’t happen) then the media would strictly focus on that next week and Trump’s convention would get no coverage at all.
Jill Biden is going to Paris and when she is there they will corner Joe Briben and get him to resign or they will not change his diapers.

A strategist would ask “what are they planning on doing over there, when we are all looking over here?”
Really, the 25th Amendment can be invoked at any time by Heel Up Harris and cabinet. This is so much media onanism.
IF the dems dump Biden and replace him with Harris, that means Kammy has to speak in public. Will the dems and the media be surprised when she sounds like a retirement home person? Listen to her without looking; it sounds like Shady Acres Retirement Home at lunch time.

ARTICLE TEN
Amendments, Bylaws, and Rules
Section 1. This Charter may be amended by a vote of a majority of all of the delegates to the National Convention, provided that no such amendment shall be effective unless and until it is subsequently ratified by a vote of the majority of the entire membership of the Democratic National Committee.
This Charter may also be amended by a vote of two-thirds of the entire membership of the Democratic National Committee.
At least thirty days written notice shall be given of any National Committee meeting at which action will be taken pursuant to this Section, and any proposed amendment
shall be given to all members of the National Committee and shall be released to the national news media.
This Charter may also be amended by a vote of two-thirds of the entire membership of any Democratic Party Conference called under the authority of this Charter for such purpose.
Section 2. Bylaws of the Democratic Party shall be adopted to provide for the governance of the affairs of the Democratic Party in matters not provided for in this Charter.
Bylaws may be adopted or amended by a majority vote of:
(a) the National Convention; or
(b) the Democratic National Committee provided that thirty days written notice of any
proposed Bylaw or amendment has been given to all members of the National Committee.
Unless adopted in the form of an amendment to this Charter or otherwise designated, any resolution adopted by the National Convention relating to the governance of the Party shall be considered a Bylaw.

I think they’re going to dump Biden on Monday so they can take all the attention away from the Republican Convention.
It will be 24/7 Kamala coverage by all but Fox.
Good point re convention coverage however Biden probably won’t bow out. Like many of our politicians, he is a one dimensional person for whom politics is all he has ever known and he’s obsessed with proving he can win a second term. Well, that and his family have a lot to lose.
Why do democrats even hold 'primaries' with 15 to 20 million democrat citizens pretending their vote matters? Hey Chuck Todd, I'm talking to YOU. And this problem with Biden? It was caused by the MSM covering for Biden's mental problems.
